Privacy practices.
Flicker Effect AB handles business, analytics, advertising account, and authorized professional-network data for consulting, marketing operations, reporting, relationship management, and AI-assisted workflow services.
Information we process.
- Business contact details such as name, company, email address, role, and project correspondence.
- Project materials, commercial requirements, account configuration details, and operational notes shared by clients or authorized users.
- Marketing account data from platforms such as Google Ads where the account owner has granted Flicker Effect access.
- LinkedIn member identifiers, authorization records, OAuth access tokens, and first-degree Connections data consisting of name, position, company, and connection date where a member has authorized access through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability APIs.
- Website analytics and technical logs used to keep the website secure and reliable.
How we use information.
We use information to provide consulting services, prepare reports, operate authorized marketing accounts, perform campaign QA, reconcile conversion measurement, provide private relationship-management tools, maintain records, and communicate with clients and business contacts.
Google Ads data.
Google Ads data is used only for authorized account operations and reporting. We do not sell Google Ads data, transfer it to unrelated third parties, or use it for unrelated profiling. Access is limited to personnel and systems that need it for service delivery.
LinkedIn Member Data Portability.
Flicker Connections is a private, read-only relationship-management service for LinkedIn members who explicitly authorize access through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability APIs. We request only the first-degree Connections data needed for this service: name, position, company, and connection date. We also process the member identifiers, authorization records, and technical access tokens needed to operate the authorized connection.
We use this data only to let the authorizing member and limited personnel or assistants specifically authorized to support that member search and organize existing professional relationships, prepare for meetings and introductions, and maintain accurate internal relationship records. We do not sell LinkedIn data, disclose it to unrelated parties for their own purposes, or use it for advertising, automated outreach, unrelated profile enrichment, or employment, credit, or other eligibility decisions.
Data is retrieved only after member authorization, either when the member initiates an import or refresh or, where the member enables ongoing access, periodically while that authorization remains active. The authorization flow will explain the collection mode before access is granted.
Legal bases and indirect data.
For the authorizing member, we process LinkedIn data to provide the service the member requests and, where required, on the basis of consent. Information about people appearing in the member's Connections data is received indirectly from LinkedIn rather than from each connection. For that limited data, we rely on our and the authorizing member's legitimate interests in private professional relationship management. We balance those interests against individual rights and reasonable expectations by limiting the fields, access, retention, and permitted uses described in this notice.
Sharing and processors.
We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, communication, storage, security, and business operations. These providers process data on our behalf and only for the relevant service. Access to LinkedIn Connections data is limited to the authorizing member, limited personnel or assistants specifically authorized to support that member, and service providers acting on our instructions where needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or with the account owner's instruction.
International transfers.
Where a service provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Information about relevant safeguards is available on request.
Retention and security.
We retain information only for as long as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, auditability, and legitimate business records. We use access controls, restricted credential storage, and limited logging to protect operational data.
A member may withdraw LinkedIn authorization at any time, which stops future collection. Withdrawal does not by itself delete data already stored. We delete stored LinkedIn Connections data, member identifiers, and access tokens immediately when the member requests deletion or closes the relevant Flicker Connections account or service relationship, except where a legal obligation requires limited retention.
Your choices and rights.
Where applicable under data protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights also apply, where relevant, if your information appears in another member's Connections data. Contact us to exercise a right. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
